Snapper is a Texas Map turtle and is only a few months old in the above image. This image was taken a few months after we purchased her, but she is now 10 years old in 2018.
Snapper is still a very healthy/happy turtle and over double the size now! She frequently plays and splashes water with our other Texas Map turtle, Squirtle (cleverly named after the Pokemon).
